SPRINTS/HURDLES

• Junior Jonathan Mitchell set a personal best of 21.46 in the 200-meter dash, good for eighth all-time at VCU. Junior Lewis Freeman clocked 22.13 in the event
• The Rams' 4x100 team of Emmanuel Waller, Marcus Wilson, Sebastian Evans, and Mykalee Atkins placed fourth
• Waller and senior Daiqwaun Faircloth ran 14.57 and 14.62, respectively, in the 110 hurdles
• VCU's team of Freeman, Jared Knight, Mitchell, and Evans placed seventh in the 4x400

 
THROWS

• Senior Jaekob Vollbrecht launched a 53.70m throw in the discus, placing sixth. Junior Justin Barnett set a personal best of 46.58m in the event, which ranks seventh all-time at VCU. Senior Glen Yancey also set a personal best with a throw of 45.21m
• Vollbrecht returned to the circle Saturday to grab a top-10 finish in the hammer throw, recording a 55.52m throw
• Seniors Daniel Guiliani (16.93m) and Glen Yancey (16.42m) went 3-5 in the shot put

 
JUMPS

• Junior Gordon Smith recorded a 6.93m leap in the long jump
• Junior Christian DuBois cleared 1.92m in the high jump, securing a top-10 finish
• Freshman David Coles placed ninth in the triple jump, recording a 14.25m mark

 
DISTANCE

• Knight secured a top-10 finish in the 800, turning in a time of 1:54.57
