• Earned runner-up finishes in the shot put and weight throw at the Kenneth Giles Invitational
• Placed fifth in the shot put at the Doc Hale Elite Meet
• Placed fourth in the shot put at the Brant Tolsma Invitational with a toss of 17.51m
• Threw a personal best of 17.96m in the weight throw to place ninth at the Virginia Tech Invitational, also taking fifth place in the shot put

Placed ninth in the shot put at the SEC Indoor Championships (17.42m, 57-02.00) ... Set PRs in the shot put (18.08m, 59-04.00) and weight throw (17.23m, 56-06.50) at the Rod McCravy Memorial ... His shot put mark ranks second in school history ... Won the shot put at the Texas Tech Shootout (17.56m, 57-07.50) ... Placed seventh in the shot put at the Indiana Relays (17.47m, 57-03.75) ... Came in fourth in the shot put (17.90m, 58-08.75) and 11th in the weight throw (16.96m, 55-07.75) at the Vanderbilt Invitational ...
