WEATHER ADJUSTS OPENING WEEKEND SCHEDULE IN CHARLESTON
Baseball will play a doubleheader on Saturday
 
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Forecasted weather in the Charleston area has adjusted VCU baseball's opening weekend schedule at College of Charleston.
 
Originally scheduled to play on Saturday, Feb. 15, and Sunday, Feb. 16, the teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Ballpark at Patriots Point. On Saturday, game one will begin at 11 a.m. with Game two to begin approximately one hour after the conclusion of game one.
 
Gates will open to fans at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Fans with tickets to either Saturday's or Sunday's originally scheduled game this weekend will be granted admission at the gates for both games of the double header on Feb. 15.
 
Friday's opening day matchup will be played as scheduled, at 4 p.m., with the first pitch of 2025.
