HURDLES
- Senior Daiqwaun Faircloth ran a wind-aided time of 13.66 to finish 17th in the opening round of the 110-meter hurdles on Wednesday, successfully advancing to the quarterfinals.
- Senior Emmanuel Waller rounded out his college career by representing VCU in the 400-meter hurdles at NCAA East for the fourth time in five years.
JUMPS
- Sophomore David Coles made his NCAA East debut in the triple jump, finishing 38th and going 14.88m on his best jump of the day.
THROWS
- Senior Jaekob Vollbrecht placed 16th overall in the discus with a throw of 54.59m, his highest finish in three NCAA East appearances in the event.
UP NEXT
The NCAA East First Round meet concludes on Saturday, May 27, with the second day of events for the women. Jocelyn Midkiff will compete in the women's discus for VCU at 1 p.m.
