The Short Story: The Rams dominated in the triple jump at the USF Invitational as Philip Daniel and Isaiah-Taji Kargbo-Owens took turns breaking the program record before each finished first and secondÂ
Sprints/Hurdles
- Freshman Presten Augustin followed up his Rookie of the Week performance with a fourth-place finish in the 110m hurdles with a prelim time of 13.87s
- Jude Okafor set a personal-record in the 400m dash at 46.96s, good for second best mark in program history
- Jayden Hines also competed in the 400m dash at 48.29s

- Freshman Destiny Ese finished fifth in the long jump at 7.11m
- The Rams dominated the triple jump as Daniel and Kargbo-Owens finished first and second, respectively
- Daniel shattered a program record at 15.73m
- Kargbo-Owens followed closely behind with a personal record of 15.64m

- Troy McWilliams set a personal record in the hammer throw at 58.24m in the Trojan Relays, finishing third
- Freshman Adham Saleh finished closely behind McWilliams in the hammer throw at 56.33m
Next Up
The Rams compete in another split meet weekend as they travel to a couple of ACC schools next weekend. Some athletes travel to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech Invitational while others travel to Charlottesville for the Virginia Challenge.Â
