Tanner Cadieux led the Rams against a deep field this week at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational.

FIRST TEE
- Looney and Cadieux were both consistent throughout the 54-hole event. Looney shot 71-73-73, while Cadieux carded 72-72-72, to tie for 31st place. Looney's 1-over finish is his lowest score this season
- The Black and Gold placed 12th in the 19-team field at 14-over. Host West Virginia (-36) blitzed its way to an 18-stroke win over Western Carolina (-18). Seton Hall and James Madison (-17) tied for fourth, while William & Mary (-10) claimed fifth
- Senor Jacob Conklin shot 72-77-72 to take 51st for the Rams. Braden McGrady and Mac McGurn rounded out VCU's top-5 in 68th and 72nd, respectively
- Freshman Rami Samawi placed third at the Shepherd's Rock Invitational, an individuals event running concurrently with the Nemacolin Invitational. He shot 68-73-71 on the 7,151-yard layout. Senior Zach Felts shot 73-68-72 to earn a share of fourth at the same event
