The short story: Senior Jake Conklin led the way for the Rams for a second straight week, while N.C. State transfer Tanner Cadieux fired a final-round 69 in his VCU debut at the Highlands Invitational.
 
FIRST TEE

• Conklin was VCU's top finisher for the second time in as many events this fall, shooting 1-over (69-75-73) on the 7,319-yard layout to claim a share of 16^th place
• VCU (+15) took 6^th overall. Wake Forest, which reached the NCAA Championship last spring, claimed the team title at 24-under. Host ETSU (-16), Coastal Carolina (+1) and Louisiana (+6) rounded out the top four
• Cadieux (+2) finished a stroke behind Conklin in 19^th. He carded five birdies Tuesday to vault into the top 20
• Senior Braden O'Grady (T23rd), senior Zach Felts (40^th) and graduate Jackson Brimfield (T66th) rounded out the VCU lineup
