Mattias Varjun each tied for eighth to lead a quartet of VCU players inside the top 20, as the Rams placed third among a loaded field at the Seminole Intercollegiate.

FIRST TEE
- Wood (69-76-70) and Varjun (73-69-73) each shot 1-under to pace the Rams
- VCU combined to shoot 1-over at the 54-hole event. The Rams finished nine strokes off the pace of runner-up and host Florida State (-8), which is currently 12th in Scoreboard's latest NCAA rankings. Seventh-ranked Ole Miss (-13) claimed the team crown
- In addition to going toe-to-toe with a pair of top-15 teams, the Rams beat ninth-ranked Arkansas (+17) and 12th-ranked Mississippi State (+31)
- Sophomore Ugo Malcor shot 73-70-74 to place 13th for VCU, while freshman Veikka Viskari (73-70-77) tied for 17th
