Caden Scarbrough fired a season-best 65 on the way to a seventh-place effort to lead VCU in its fall finale at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic in Monterrey, Mexico this week.

FIRST TEE
- Scarbrough finished 9-under, shooting 65-71-71 at the 54-hole event, which featured back-to-back 27-hole days. The North Canton, Ohio native has been VCU's top finisher in three straight events, and his seventh-place showing is his first top-10 finish as a Ram
- VCU placed eighth overall at 4-under. North Dakota State (-26) earned a comfortable win over Loyola (Md.) (-16) and Utah State (-15)
- Junior Braden O'Grady shot 72-70-74 on the way to a share of 32nd place for the Black and Gold, while senior Charlie Kennedy, playing as an individual this week, carded 73-71-73 across 54 holes on the way to 34th
- Senior Jan Rybczynski (+3) and sophomore Liam White (+4) were 38th and 41st for the Rams, respectivelyÂ
