RICHMOND, Va. –
Sarah Te-Biasu was named to the All-Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Preseason First Team as announced by the league on Tuesday morning.

Te-Biasu, a junior guard, was an All-Atlantic 10 Third Team selection last season and is the Rams' top returning scorer. Last season, Te-Biasu averaged 12.7 points per game along with 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals.

Te-Biasu shot a team-high 39.0 percent from 3-point range and started 26 of the 28 games she appeared in. She ranked fourth in the A-10 in 3-point percentage, ninth in free throw percentage at 76.6 percent and 14
th in steals per game.

As a team, VCU was selected to finish fifth in the A-10. The Rams finished fourth last season after posting a 16-12 overall record and a 9-5 mark in conference play. The Black and Gold made their third consecutive postseason appearance and advanced to the second round of the WNIT.

VCU begins its season on Monday, Nov. 7 at home against Lafayette.
