HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Knezevic came out firing out of the gates as she scored the game's first six points as the Rams took a 6-0 lead with 7:50 remaining in the first quarter
- White scored the next five points for VCU and end the opening quarter with seven points as VCU held a 17-14 lead
- Duquesne began the second quarter by outscoring VCU 14-4 before an Ann Zachariah three-pointer cut the deficit to 28-27. The Dukes entered the halftime locker room with a 35-29 lead
- After both teams struggled to score to begin the third quarter, the Dukes went on a 12-0 run to take a 51-34 lead with 2:05 remaining in the third quarter
- VCU ended the 3rd quarter on an 8-2 run to cut the deficit to 53-42
- Both teams battled in the fourth quarter as both teams scored 19 points in the frame
