The short story: Despite five early lead changes, VCU was unable to hold on for the win, falling to Davidson at the Siegel Center on Wednesday, 66-39.

  • Donovan and Jasmine Timmerson combined for seven points and extended the Wildcats' advantage to 51-28 at the end of the third quarter
  • VCU recorded 11 fourth-quarter points, but Davidson pulled away to a 66-39 final
