LACROSSE ANNOUNCES 2022 SCHEDULE

RICHMOND, Va. ­– VCU Women's Lacrosse has announced its 2022 schedule that features seven home games as well as contests against ACC and Big Ten opponents including three participants from the 2021 NCAA Tournament.

VCU opens its season under new head coach Nicole Flores with four consecutive road contests, including the season opener at John Hopkins (Feb. 12), who received an at-large bid to the 2021 NCAA Tournament.

After facing the Blue Jays, the Rams travel to a trio of in-state rivals in ODU (Feb. 16), Virginia Tech (Feb. 19) and Longwood (March 2).

The Black and Gold host their home opener againstĀ Coastal Carolina (March 9) followed by another match against Elon (March 12) at Cary Street Field. The Rams then travel to Radford (March 16) in a final tune-up before Atlantic 10 play.

A-10 play begins for VCU at home against George Mason (March 25) followed by road contests at La Salle (March 27) and defending A-10 Champion UMass (April 1). The Rams host Duquesne (April 3) before their final non-conference game at Virginia (April 6), another 2021 NCAA Tournament participant.

The Rams play three of their next four contests at home hosting crosstown rival Richmond (April 8), traveling to Saint Joseph's (April 10) and hosting Davidson (April 14) and St. Bonaventure (April 16). The Rams conclude the regular season on the road at George Washington (April 23).
