Adrian Vagberg set a tournament record and tied the school single-round mark, with his second-round 64 on the way to an eighth-place finish at the ECU Intercollegiate.
FIRST TEE
- Vagberg, playing as an individual, shot 77-64-77 and joined a group of seven golfers at 2-over for the 54-hole event. His 8-under 64 in Monday's second round was bogey-free and included eight birdies. He joins Ted Brown (2002) and Mark Jargren (2009) as the only Rams to shoot 64
- VCU combined to shoot 883 (+19) in the tournament and tied Boston College for sixth. Coastal Carolina (+1) claimed the team title, followed by Appalachian State (+7), Loyola (Md.) (+15) and East Carolina and Maryland (+16)
