HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jessica Del Rossi scored the game's first goal less than two minutes in and ignited the 10 unanswered goals from the Rams. Koniencki, Marosi, McTavish, George and Slack each scored at least once during the run.
- Wofford responded with three unanswered goals to cut the Rams' lead to 10-3 with 5:57 left before halftime but VCU scored the final goal of the half to lead 11-3 at the break.
- The Terriers climbed back within 11-5 after scoring back-to-back goals to open the second half but eight unanswered goals from VCU put the game away as the Rams led 19-5 with 7:33 remaining.
- VCU ultimately scored 10 of the game's final 11 goals to pull away.
