HOW IT HAPPENED

• VCU struck first took a 1-0 lead in the 23^rd minute as Bohmke scored a goal.
• The Red Flash tied the game 1-1 in the 27^th minute as Brianna Govia scored at the far post.
• The two teams were tied 1-1 at halftime but VCU scored just eight minutes into the second half and took a 2-1 lead as Albright tapped the ball into an open net after a cross from McNamara.
• The Red Flash then scored two unanswered goals less than six minutes later to take a 3-2 lead over the Rams.
• VCU responded with two unanswered goals from McNamara in the 50^th minute and the 60^th minute to give the Rams a 4-3 lead.
• Saint Francis would force overtime by scoring with less than four minutes remaining to tie the game at 4-4.
• McNamara scored the game-winner on a penalty corner in the 85^th minute after Tossone inserted the ball, she stopped it and had a shot from the edge of the arc beat the goalkeeper far post.
