RICHMOND, VA. – VCU baseball has announced changes to its opening weekend schedule against Holy Cross, which will now feature a doubeheader on Saturday.
Reduced earlier in the week to a three-game slate, the series finale has been moved up to Saturday due to the weather forecast in the area. The opening game on Friday, Feb. 13 will remain a 1 p.m. first pitch with free admission to fans for all weekday (Monday-Friday) home games.
The teams will now play a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 14, at The Diamond. On Saturday, game one will begin at 10 a.m. with game two to begin following the conclusion of game one.

Fans with tickets to Sunday's originally scheduled contest may exchange them for another VCU home game this season.
