th inning to return the Rams to the win column.

Â
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fenix Digiacomo opened the game with a flawless first frame, facing the minimum and notching a pair of strikeouts
- VCU was met with nearly the same fate from Army righty hurler Andrew Burg, but Nick Flores doubled down the left-field line to get the game's first hit before entering the second inning at 0-0
- Army scored a pair of one-out runs in the second inning on a walk and hit by pitch and Frers rolled a double play with his first pitch of the game to shut the inning down
- Over the next three frames, VCU took its first lead on run-scoring singles from Alec Warden and Adelman, 3-2
- Scoring on an error in the seventh, Army evened the score and held VCU off the board into the 10th inning
- Dante DeFranco laced a single up the middle to lead off the 10th inning and Lee popped the walk-off single into shallow center field
