The short story:Â Emmanuel Oche ran the second-fastest time in program history in the 100-meter dash, highlighting the Black and Gold's performance at George Mason.Â

SPRINTS
- Oche earned second place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.32 seconds, surpassing his previous personal best of 10.49 seconds. His performance now ranks as the second-fastest in program history, just behind Mustapha Jinadu's 10.27-second mark set in 1995
- Freshman Christian Hallums also recorded a top ten performance in the 100-meter dash, finishing ninth with a time of 10.73 secondsÂ
DISTANCE
- Julian Lawson posted a personal best time of 3:59.41 in the 1500-meter race, finishing 11th and leading the Rams in the event as well. Sophomore Cole Dawson also competed in the event, recording a time of 4:04.43
- Redshirt freshman Thomas Hess set a personal best in the 800-meter race with a time of 1:55.11
- Senior Nahim Abdallah clocked a time of 15:05.38 in the 5000-meter race, finishing 21st in a field of over 50 competitorsÂ
THROWS
- Sophomore Devon Brooks set a new personal best in the hammer throw with a top distance of 46.99 meters, earning him 10th in the eventÂ
Next up
The Rams will next send athletes to compete in the South Florida Invitational and the JMU Invitational. The USF Invitational will take place from Friday to Saturday, April 11-12, while the JMU Invitational is scheduled for Saturday, April 12.
