The short story: Jude Okafor set two new personal bests and
David Coles earned first in the triple jump to headline the Rams' performance in their second meet of the outdoor season.
JUMPS
- Three Rams placed in the top ten in the triple jump, with Coles taking first place with a jump of 15.39 meters, just shy of his personal best of 15.54 meters. Fellow Rams Isaiah-Taji Kargbo-Owens and Philip Daniel finished sixth and seventh, respectively, with Kargbo-Owens jumping 14.99 meters and Daniel reaching 14.77 meters
- Sophomore Jaiden Oglesby secured a top-15 finish in the high jump, clearing a height of 2.00 meters to place 13th
SPRINTS
- In the 400-meter dash, Okafor finished as the top Ram, clocking a time of 47.59 seconds to set a new personal best. Fellow Rams Jayden Hines and Kiwan Williams also recorded personal records in the event
- Okafor also set a new personal best in the 200-meter dash, finishing with a time of 21.53 seconds. Sophomore Emmanuel Oche and Williams recorded a personal best in the event also
- Okafor's marks in the 400 and 200 currently sit as the best in the Atlantic-10 through the opening weekends of the outdoor season
HURDLES
- Marcus Acheampong continued his impressive freshman campaign with a 15th-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, setting a personal best time of 14.36 seconds. This mark ranks second in the A-10 and first among freshmen in the conference. Additionally, his time of 14.36 seconds is the fifth fastest in program history. Acheampong also recorded a personal best in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking in at 56.86 seconds
THROWS
- In the discus throw, John Casper recorded a mark of 49.82 meters, finishing 14th and as the top Ram in the event. Casper also secured a 10th-place finish in the hammer throw with a personal best distance of 60.64 meters, surpassing his previous best of 58.36 meters, which he set at last season's A-10 Championships

The Rams next travel to Fairfax, Va. to compete in the Dalton Ebanks Invitational hosted by George Mason on Friday to Saturday, April 4-5.
