NOTABLES
  • VCU's triumph comes on the heels of the Rams first-place finish at The Vaquero in Cancun earlier this month. The Rams have finished no worse than fourth in seven tournaments this year
  • The Rams have now won a pair of tournaments in the same season for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign, when they captured three team titles, including the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship
  • The Lake Las Vegas field included seven top-100 teams, including three inside the top 50
INSIDE THE SCORECARD
  • VCU led the field in Par 4 scoring (3.99) and birdies (68)
  • Viskari recorded 17 birdies in the tournament, one of the tourney lead, while Wood carded 15
  • Viskari is the third different VCU golfer to record a top-five finish in three spring tournaments. It's the highest finish of the Vierumäki, Finland native's rookie season
NEXT UP
VCU will return to the links March 12-13 when they head to Tallahassee, Fla. For the Seminole Invitational at Seminole Legacy.
