Thoe Archer all finished inside the top 10 as VCU pulled away down the stretch and recorded a seven-stroke victory this week at the Redhawk Intercollegiate.

FIRST TEE
- Cadieux shot a blistering 5-under 66 in Tuesday's final round on the way to share of third place at 7-under for the Rams
- Morgenstern (72-66-71) and Archer (70-68-71) tied for eighth at 4-under
- Sophomore North Chery, a transfer from DePaul, shot 73-70-71 on the way to 20th for VCU
- The Rams shot 14-under over the final two rounds to run away from the field. VCU entered the day a stroke behind Ball State, but proceeded to card a 5-under performance, while the Cardinals faded with a 6-over effort on TuesdayÂ

- Tuesday's win is VCU's third under third-year Head Coach Tyler Schmutz. The Rams claimed wins at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic and the Bentwater Intercollegiate last season
- Archer (2.93) led the field in par 3 scoring, while Morgenstern (4.17) tied for the tournament lead on par 5 holes. Morgenstern was also tied for second in par 3 scoring (3.00)
- Morgenstern and Cadieux each carded a pair of eagles this week. Cadieux also recorded a team-best 14 birdiesÂ
