SMIRNOVA NAMED A-10 PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

RICHMOND, Va. – Graduate student Victoria Smirnova finished the regular season strong as she was named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week, the conference announced today.

Smirnova won her singles match against Emma Heiderscheit of Davidson on court one, 6-2, 6-3. The native of Nivelles, Belgium paired with Victoria Smirnova on court one for a win against Daniela Porges / Kavya Patel of Davidson, 6-0.

The Rams are back in action for the Atlantic 10 tournament in Orlando, Fla. beginning on April 27.
