MEN'S TENNIS MOVES UP IN RANKINGS

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Men's Tennis is ranked the no. 34 team in the country, while graduate student Charles Bertimon and junior Matisse Bobichon both received singles rankings, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced today.

The Rams are coming off a bounce-back victory over no. 35 Tulane, 4-3, at the Ed Collins Spring Classic in San Diego, Ca. VCU narrowly lost to no. 7 Harvard the next day, 4-3.

Bertimon's week was highlighted by defeating the no. 11 singles player in the country, Harvard's Henry von der Schulenberg. In the match before, the native of Champagne Sur Seine, France defeated no. 80 Fynn Kuenkler of Tulane. Bertimon has put up a strong 13-2 singles record this season.

Bobichon has been ranked for the majority of this season, beginning the year at no. 105. The native of Lyon, France most recently beat Tulane's Luka Petrovic. Bobichon has posted a singles record of 8-4 this season.

VCU returns to action on Sunday, March 26 at 11 a.m. against no. 30 Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y.
