RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Basketball Head Coach
Beth O'Boyle has announced the addition of
Taya Robinson as the program's Director of Player Culture.
Â
Robinson, the program's third all-time leading scorer and one of its most decorated student-athletes, returned to the United States after spending the fall playing professionally in Greece.
Â
"We're thrilled to welcome Taya back to Ram Nation. Taya had an outstanding career as a student-athlete here at VCU and her experience will be an invaluable resource to our players," said O'Boyle. "Taya embodies everything it means to be a Ram and to wear the Black and Gold. I have no doubt that she will have an incredibly positive impact on our program in this role."
Â
Robinson was a two-time All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection and a four-time All-Defensive Team choice. Robinson led VCU to the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship, the first in program history, and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. During her five seasons, she helped VCU earn four postseason berths.
Â
