VCU senior Emmanuel Waller wrapped up his season Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds. Waller placed fifth in his heat with a time of 51.67, narrowly missing a spot in the quarterfinals. He finishes the season ranked second in the Atlantic 10 in the event with a season best of 51.56. The race marks his third appearance at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds after qualifying in 2019 and 2021.
