The short story: Sophomore Mikkel Antonsen and senior Adrian Vagberg each logged a top-10 finish to lead VCU to a third-place showing this week at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
 
FIRST TEE

• Antonsen fired a final-round 69 Tuesday on the way to a share of seventh place. The sophomore from Krakeroy, Norway overcame a first-round 74 with a 68 in Monday's second round
• Vagberg also earned a share of seventh with a 69-70-72 effort
• VCU totaled 852 for the 54-hole event, 12-over on the par 72, 6,617-yard layout. South Carolina (-8) captured the team title, followed by Virginia (+2). South Carolina-Aiken (+16) and Virginia Tech (+23) rounded out the top five
• Senior Kristian Tannum Donaldson and freshman Charlie Kennedy placed 25^th and 27^th, respectively, for VCU=
