Richmond, Va. - VCU Men's tennis was ranked no. 39 in the Division I Men's Team Rankings the ITA announced Wednesday.
 
This selection comes after an impressive stretch that saw the Rams take down four opponents in as many days. Two of these victories came against ranked opponents in no. 25 Auburn and no. 19 Arizona in route to a third-place finish at the Blue Grey National Tennis Classic
 
During this stretch Sophomore Matisse Bobichon recorded a 9-1 record across singles and doubles including a perfect 5-0 in singles. Grad Student Inigo Torre Martin was also in good form clinching VCU's win over Arizona with a three-set victory over no.71 Colton Smith.
 
Doubles has also been a point of strength for the Rams during this stretch. Bobichon and doubles partner Freshman Joaquim Almeida recorded a notable 4-1 doubles record including a 6-2 win over Gustaf Strom and Herman Hoeyeraal in VCU's win over Arizona
 
VCU will look to keep their momentum as they travel to face Chattanooga on Saturday, March 12. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
