The Short Story:Â The Rams continued their successful season in Virginia Beach Sunday, grabbing several top-five finishes.

SPRINTS/HURDLES
- Sophomore Aaron Goggins placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles semifinals
- Junior Jonathan Mitchell finished fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.36. Junior Noah Hackerson placed eighth in the event, clocking 22.48
- Sophomore Justin Wallace placed third in the finals of the 60-meter dash. His fastest time of the day came in the semifinals, where he ran 7.00 to qualify in third place

JUMPS
- Freshman David Coles placed seventh in the long jump, recording a 6.62m mark on his sixth and final jump
- Senior Mykalee Atkins cleared a new personal best of 3.40m in the pole vault, placing fifth
- Junior Christian DuBois cleared 1.93m in the high jump to place third, while Atkins doubled back from the pole vault to place fourth with a 1.83m clearance

DISTANCE
- Freshmen Jaden Luczak and Kendall Phillips finished second and eighth in the mile, respectively. Luczak turned in a time of 4:23.89, while Phillips clocked 4:33.94
- Junior Corey Bannister grabbed a seventh-place finish in the 800-meter run
- Junior Noah Peterson placed sixth in the 3000-meter run

The Rams return to Virginia Beach, Va. to compete in the Kenneth Giles Invitational hosted by Norfolk State. Action begins Friday, Feb. 11.
