RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Field Hockey's Lonica McKinney has been selected to participate in the Zag 2022 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game.
 
McKinney is one of 38 seniors selected for the event that will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in Storrs, Connecticut. The NFHCA Division I Senior Game is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 19, at the University of Connecticut.
 
McKinney has scored three goals and added four assists this season for the Rams. In her career, she's scored 12 goals and recorded four assists. McKinney helped lead VCU to the program's first Atlantic 10 Championship, making the All-Championship Team, and appearance in the 2020 NCAA Tournament that was played in the spring of 2021.
 
McKinney was an All-Atlantic 10 Rookie Team selection as a freshman and has also been named an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction and All-Academic Squad member.
