HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sofia Emond opened the scoring for the Rams just over a minute into the contest after getting an assist from Barcikowski.
- Barcikowski scored to make it 2-1 on a free position with 21:22 left in the first half.
- The teams again traded goals before Duquesne scored the final two goals to take a 4-3 lead into halftime.
- The Dukes scored two of the first three goals of the second half to take a 6-4 lead with 22:40 before the Rams embarked on their run.
- Langeler scored the first of five unanswered goals with 16:16 left in the game. She scored three of the five straight goals with Barcikowski and Evans-Riester each scoring one. Two of the three goals were scored with the Rams down a player due to a yellow card.
- VCU led by as much as 11-8 with 1:24 remaining before the Dukes scored the games' final goal with 46 seconds left.
