RICHMOND, VA. – Second-year VCU Women's Soccer Head Coach Lauryn Hutchinson announced the addition of Volunteer Assistant Coach Hannah Calliott ahead of the 2026 fall season, who remains with the program after assisting the coaching staff as a graduate student in the spring.
 
Calliott was a four-year women's soccer student-athlete at Christopher Newport, where she was a member of the Captains to an NCAA Division III National Championship in 2021.
 
A native of Midlothian, Virginia, Calliott serves as the head coach of the Richmond United U-14 Red NPL Girls team and is as assistant coach with Richmond United's ECNL Girls U-16 and U-17 programs.
 
With Richmond United, Calliott plans and leads practices, manages games and focuses on individual player development with the youth teams. In April 2026, she completed her graduate assistantship with Richmond United, where she also managed marketing and social media initiatives for the club, along with coaching.
 
She graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and minors in leadership and communication while competing as a member of the women's soccer team.
 
In addition to her time on the soccer field, Calliott also served as the team manager for the CNU women's lacrosse team.
 
Prior to her time at CNU, Calliott was a standout at James River High School, where she collected All-Metro and All-Region honors, on top of a Region 6A Championship with the Rapids.
 
The Rams will open their season at Elon on Thursday, August 13, at 7:00 p.m. as they look to build on their winningest campaign since 2022 a season ago.
