TYSONS, VA. — The Atlantic 10 Championship baseball matchup between No. 3 VCU and No. 1 Saint Joseph's has been suspended due to inclement weather at Capital One Park on Friday, May 22. VCU leads the contest 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning, competing as the home team.
The game will resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, in the bottom of the first inning with two outs, Rams baserunners on first and second base, and
Quinn Maher at the plate with a 0-0 count.
The winner of the contest will advance to the Championship Final against No. 5 Rhode Island, needing two wins to earn the title. The loser of the contest will face elimination.
