RICHMOND, Va. – The final buzzer has nearly sounded on the VCU's 2025-26 athletics seasons, but that doesn't mean the Rams are done racking up wins.
Â
The latest round of VCU victories weren't produced on the field, but rather, in the Rams' chosen fields of study.
Â
VCU's student-athletes, a group nearly 300 strong, produced a Spring 2026 semester grade-point-average of 3.427. In addition, 70 Rams, roughly a quarter of all VCU student-athletes, recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring. More than 80 percent registered at least a 3.0, and 49 percent reached the 3.5 plateau.
Â
In 2025-26 overall, VCU student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.508, just a shade off last year's pace of 3.513. The Rams have booked a department-wide GPA of better than 3.4 in six straight semesters.
Â
VCU's success in the classroom should not come as a surprise. The Black and Gold have combined for a GPA of 3.0 or better in 23 consecutive semesters, a streak of academic excellence that spans 12 years.
