RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Soccer announced the addition of freshman goalkeeper
Ameerah Maamry to the 2025 incoming class.
The goalkeeper joins the Rams from Racing Louisville Academy with an impressive resume. Maamry brings experience on the world stage with her to VCU, competing with the Moroccan Women's National Team including during the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Colombia 2024 and the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup India 2022.
The Louisville, Kentucky, native joins Isabelle Franklin,
Brooke Owens,
Jessica Gotshall,
Mylana Stevens,
Payton Rofe and
Tatum Scialdone to round out the incoming freshmen in the Rams' 2025 signing class.
Maamry and the Rams will be back on the pitch for a first-look preseason exhibition match against the USL Super League's Power FC on August 2 at Sports Backers Stadium.
