- Her grandfather, Bill Shinen, played baseball at Berkeley, and uncle, Steven Shinen, played football at Portland State
- Favorite soccer memory was completing a hat trick with no time remaining on the clock after her dad said if she scored a hat trick he would buy the family the truck they all wanted
- Favorite athletes are Lionel Messi or Tobin Heath
- Was part of a song and dance company for 16 years
- Enjoys hiking on off-days
