David Coles,
Gudrun Hallgrimsdottir, and
Emmanuel Oche each earned another Atlantic 10 Conference weekly honor following their performances at the Virginia Challenge.
In the long jump, Coles recorded a top distance of 7.31 meters to finish 10th in field of 32 entries. This mark set a new season-best in the A-10, with second currently sitting at 7.23 meters. The senior has predominantly competed in the triple jump this season, where he currently owns the second-best mark in the A-10 with a jump of 15.56 meters. This marks the second consecutive week the Virginia native has been awarded Field Performer of the Week in the A-10.
With her most recent honor, Hallgrimsdottir has now been named the A-10 Field Performer of the Week six times throughout the 2025 indoor and outdoor seasons. The senior currently holds the top conference mark in the hammer with a throw of 67.65 meters she recorded Friday, April 18 at the Virginia Challenge. Further, she owns the sixth-best mark in the event in all of Division I.
Oche notched his second consecutive A-10 Track Performer of the Week honor following his time of 10.27 seconds, earning him a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash. The sophomore set a personal best of 10.23 seconds at the USF Invitational, which currently stands as the fastest time in the conference. The Nigerian native earned silver in the 60-meter dash for the Rams at this season's A-10 Indoor Championships as well.
These three Rams next travel to Fairfax, Va. to compete in the A-10 Outdoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4.
