- After Saint Joseph's had added two more in the top of the sixth, the visitors led 5-3
- Playing small ball in the bottom of the eighth, the Rams tallied four singles, including two to drive in runs by Lee and Henson, the latter fixing the score to an even 5-5
- James McGrady was nearly perfect in his three innings out of the bullpen, retiring the first seven Hawks he faced, but his only hit of the game was the go-ahead homer from Owen Petrich in the ninth inning
- The Rams weren't able to manage a comeback bid in the bottom of the ninth, going down in order for the first loss of the week.
