Biography
2025/SOPHOMORE
- Made 38 starts across 41 appearances in his debut season with VCU
- 31 hits, including six doubles and three home runs
- Notched 17 runs, 17 RBI and 10 walks
- Posted a .223 batting average
- Drove in a pair of runs with a homer in Rams' first win of the Coach Thompson era at Charleston (Feb. 15)
- Had his first multi-hit game at No. 4 North Carolina (Feb. 25)
- Went 3-4 with a season-high three runs and an RBI in win over Longwood (March 25)
- Collected five hits with a pair of doubles in series victory over George Washington (April 4-6)
- Had a pinch-hit 3-run home run in the ninth inning at St. Bonaventure (May 2)
- Closed out the season with an active eight-game reached base streak, beginning May 2 at St. Bonaventure
PRIOR TO VCU
- Played freshman season at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif.
- Named a 2024 West Coast League All-Star with the Bellingham Bells
HIGH SCHOOL
- Three-year varsity letterwinner at Langley Secondary under coach Doug Mathesion
- Ranked the No. 3 shortstop in British Columbia by Perfect Game
- Won the Premier Baseball League Provincial Championship in 2021 with Langley
- Also played hockey at Delta Hockey Academy
PERSONAL
- Son of Glenn and Jenn Kirkpatrick
- Has one sister, Rebecca
- Member of Team Canada in the 2015 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
