KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Moussa Ndiaye has been named an All-American by United Soccer Coaches on Friday, garnering second-team honors to become the seventh Ram to earn United Soccer Coaches/NSCAA All-America recognition in program history.
Â
The center back is one of 35 players and nine defenders to be named to one of United Soccer Coaches' three All-America teams.
Â
Ndiaye has been a staple of the Rams' back line for four years, collecting accolades throughout his career at the conference, state and national levels. Adding to his A-10 Defensive Player of the Year and All-Atlantic 10 First Team 2025 campaign, the senior concludes his career with one of the highest honors.
Â
After being tabbed first-team All-Southeast Region by United Soccer Coaches
earlier this week, Ndiaye etched his name into the history books alongside some of the most prolific Rams as the second All-America honoree under Head Coach
Dave Giffard.
Â
Ndiaye joins former VCU men's soccer All-Americans Rafael Andrade Santos (2017), Gonzalo Segares (2004), Dominic Oduro (2004), Matthew Delicate (2003), Kevin Jeffrey (1999) and Said Kamali (1981).
Â
A captain on the 2025 squad, Ndiaye led the Rams to a pair of top-25 wins, compiling over 1,400 minutes on the pitch. Four of his career-best five points came in the final two games of the season, ending his collegiate career with his first multi-goal campaign.
Â
The Dakar, Senegal, native adds his All-America recognition to a trophy case that includes A-10 Defensive Player of the Year, All-Region First Team, a pair of first-team All-Conference honors, A-10 All-Tournament, VaSID Defensive Player of the Year and an Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship across his career.
