RICHMOND, VA. – VCU men's soccer will return to action in August 2026 with three home exhibition matches before opening its competitive regular season slate on the road, Head Coach Dave Giffard released Tuesday.
Of the 16 regular season opponents on the Rams' 2026 schedule, six advanced into the second or third rounds of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including Men's College Cup Semifinalist Saint Louis and High Point, who earned the national 10-seed a season ago.
Also appearing in the 2025 NCAA Postseason were 2024 National Runner-Up Marshall, UNC Greensboro, North Carolina and UCF. Rounding out VCU's non-conference opponents are 2024 Men's College Cup Quarterfinalist Wake Forest, Old Dominion and Campbell.
In their Atlantic 10 slate, the Rams will face St. Bonaventure, Dayton, Saint Louis and Duquesne on the road, while playing host to Fordham, George Washington, Loyola Chicago and George Mason—who marked one of VCU's two top-25 victories in the 2025 season.
