ATLANTA, GA – VCU Athletics andÂ
Playfly Aspire are extending their already record-breaking partnership. Under the leadership of industry veteran
Nick Meeson, the dedicated Playfly team has increased revenue production across ticket sales and philanthropic giving to the Ram Athletic fund every year they have been on campus. Compared to pre-Playfly figures, VCU men's basketball revenue and attendance are up 20 percent, while women's basketball and Olympic sport revenue has grown exponentially.
Â
Additional men's basketball highlights from FY25 include the three highest grossing games in program history and a second consecutive year with season ticket renewal rates above 90 percent. Playfly Aspire's Consulting & Analytics team has supported this success with in-depth surveying and analysis around season ticket holder benefit optimization, ticket value perception, and the fan experience in the Siegel Center.
VCU Vice President & Director of Athletics, Ed McLaughlin, on the partnership extension:
"We look forward to extending our partnership with Playfly. We engaged with Playfly Aspire coming out of COVID to jumpstart our ticket sales, especially our season tickets. The folks at Playfly have invested in VCU Athletics, and I know our best days together stand in front of us."
