Junior
Gudrun Hallgrimsdottir was namd the A-10 Women's Performer of the Week, freshman Blanca Pereira won the A-10 Women's Rooke of the Week and
Jaiden Oglesby was named the A-10 Men's Rookie of the Week.

Hallgrimsdottir was awarded the A-10 Women's Field Performer of the week after she finished first in the hammer throw at the Virginia Open, throwing 67.01m. Her mark set a VCU record and catapulted the junior to the third best hammer throw mark in the NCAA.

This is Hallgrimsdottir's first outdoor competition of the season and first since being named an NCAA Indoor First Team All-American. This is her third weekly award of the 2024 calendar year, winning two during the indoor season.

Freshman
Blanca Pereira was named the A-10 Women's Rookie of the Week after she finished second behind Hallgrimsdottir in the hammer throw. The freshman threw a personal record 54.33m throw in the event, eclipsing her 53.31m throw at the UCF Black and Gold invitational opening weekend. This is Pereira's first A-10 weekly honor.

Jaiden Oglesby won the A-10 Men's Rookie of the Week for his 2.05m high jump at the Fred Hardy Invitational at Richmond. Oglesby's jump, landed him in first place at the event and set the highest mark in the A-10 outdoor season to date. This is Oglesby's first weekly honor of the year. Â
