RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Baseball junior Justin Humenay and sophomore Nick Frazier's work in the classroom and on the field has been recognized as both Ram pitchers were named to the 2023 College Sport Communications Academic All-District team.
 
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. The cumulative grade-point average may NOT be rounded up to 3.50. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-American ballot. First, second and third-team Academic honorees will be announced June 7.
 
Both Frazier and Humenay have posted a cumulative GPA over 3.50 respectively. Humenay has made six starts and tossed 25.2 innings this season, while Frazier has made 16 appearances and thrown 21.1 innings.
