RICHMOND, Va. – The VCU Ram Athletic Fund has announced a return to the seat equity plan that was in place prior to 2020 in order to provide donors with better inventory eliminate the per seat donation.
Â
The return to the seat equity plan comes after careful consideration, feedback, questions and comments from countless supporters. Under this revised seat equity plan, the $250 per seat donation is set to be eliminated along with that entire fund. All season tickets will be based on Ram Athletic Fund giving levels.
Â
In order to execute the change in plan, the Ram Athletic Fund will reseat the arena bowl in the fall of 2022. Seats will be selected based on both historical and current giving to the Ram Athletic Fund. There is open inventory for season tickets that will improve the seat location for many of our most loyal and dedicated fans.
Â
Reseating the entire bowl will ensure fairness and a majority of VCU supporters prefer this process and return to the old model.
Â
The support provided as a member of the Ram Athletic Fund and a season ticket holder allow VCU Athletics to provide the best experience possible for our student-athletes.
Â
The Ram Athletic Fund thanks you for your patience in navigating our return to normalcy this year and, although some aspects of game day do not match what we did prior to 2020, we know we will continue to get back to that environment with your help.
Â
Once the Ram Athletic Fund has final information on benefits and hospitality next year, those will be communicated immediately.
Â
All supporters can call a member of the Ram Athletic Fund staff at (804) 828-3863 for any questions or comments you may have about your specific donation and you can call the ticket office at (804) 828-7267 for any questions about your seat location or Ram Rankings.
