HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Gregory opened the scoring in the fourth minute after a pass from Sturm found her open at the back post
• VCU doubled its lead less than two minutes later after McCormick scored on an assist from Gregory
• The Rams went up 3-0 in the 13^th minute as Gregory assisted Hanley who scored from close range at the back post
• Bellarmine cut into the VCU lead in the 38^th minute as Hobson got in behind the Rams' defense, her shot hit off Sasha Elliott and bounced into the goal
• VCU responded in the 40^th minute as Janne Wetzel scored on a penalty corner to make it 4-1
• Sturm added to the lead at the start of the fourth quarter, drilling a shot into the low corner and past the Bellarmine keeper
• McCormick scored the final goal in the 55^th minute, squeezing a shot past the Knights goalkeeper from point blank range on an assist from Gregory
