THE SHORT STORY:Â After a defensive battle in the first half, VCU broke the scoring open with
Camila Rosenbrock's goal midway through the third quarter. VCU then scored off two penalty corners to come away with the win in the final game of the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- VCU opened the scoring in the third quarter with Camila Rosenbrock's goal from the top of the circle
- The Rams went up 2-0 at the end of the third quarter as Wetzel converted on a penalty corner on assists from Maite and Svea Sturm
- In the 52nd minute, Janne Wetzel scored again off a penalty corner, once again off the insert from Maite Sturm and stick stop by Svea Sturm
- Csensits scored for the Spiders off a penalty corner in the fourth quarter as time expired
