RICHMOND, Va. – Sophomore guard
Nah'Shon "Bones" Hyland (Wilmington, Del.) has been named All-Atlantic 10 Conference Preseason Third Team, the league announced Tuesday.

A 6-foot-3 guard, Hyland is VCU's leading returning scorer and was named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team in 2019-20. The Wilmington, Del. native averaged 9.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for the Rams last season. He set a VCU freshman record with 63 three-pointers and was the league's third-best shooter from beyond the arc (.434).

Hyland started the final nine games of the 2019-20 campaign and averaged 11.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in league action overall. He shot .465 (46-of-99) from 3-point range in 18 A-10 games last year. He topped double-figures in points 13 times, including a 21-point effort in a win over St. Bonaventure, the most be a VCU true freshman since 2014.
