The short story: VCU placed fourth in the 2-mile race with an average time of 12:03.72, a 1.94 second improvement from last year. The Rams were lead by Senior Emily Mulhern, who finished an impressive 3rd overall.
THE FINISH LINE
- In her first meet as a Ram, Mulhern finished with a time of 11:20.9, just .7 off from the second place finisher.
- Juniors Delaney Savedge (11:57.5) and Ashley Brown (12:03.3) placed 20th and 23rd respectively.
- Senior Nichelle Scott ran a 12:12.8, earning a top 30 finish.
- Junior Judith White and Senior Ashley Greenlee finished 39th and 40th with only .7 seconds separating the two runners.
