The Short Story: VCU utilized strong closing speeds to secure a sixth-place finish at the South Region Showdown hosted by Roanoke.

The Finish Line:

• Senior Ava Miller led the Rams for a second consecutive meet as she placed 28th with a time of 23:39.9

• Junior Shreya Krishnamurthy placed 36th at 23:53.1

• Freshman Quinn Connaughton made her 6k debut with a time of 24:49.2, good for third on VCU and 63rd overall

• Freshman Madison Johnson placed fourth on the Rams and 77th overall

• Freshman Madeleine Devlin rounded out the scoring total for VCU at 25:23.0
